MAKING BERLIN A LEADER: THE SPORTS MARKETING CAMPAIGN.
The sports metropolis of Berlin conveys values such as integration, community, diversity and togetherness. Alongside being a significant economic factor for the city, Berlin's sports are of great importance to society and are held in high esteem by the Berlin population. As part of the Berlin brand, a new sports marketing campaign for the city has also been created. The aim of this campaign is to position the sports metropolis of Berlin as an important element of the Berlin brand, to strengthen sport and its relevance in the city and to communicate the values underlying sport. The campaign aims to reach (sports-interested) Berliners, sports fans and afficionados of the sports metropolis of Berlin. Brand ambassadors from the world of sport are the figureheads of the sports metropolis of Berlin, and these include Berlin's professional clubs as well as the BMW BERLIN MARATHON and the ISTAF.
